Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application effect of integrated emergency intervention in patients with severe chest trauma. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 58 patients with severe chest trauma who were treated at The First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from Janu-ary 2022 to December 2024.Based on the emergency rescue protocol, the patients were divided into an observation group(integrated emergency intervention model,n=29)and a control group(conventional emergency intervention model,n=29).The clinical indicators,pre-and post-treatment basic vital signs, complications, missed diagnoses, and mortality rates were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the ob-servation group had significantly shorter venous access time, emergency room stay, treatment determination time, time from admission to surgery, and total hospitalization time(P<0.001).The total emergency treatment costs in the observation group were also significantly lower(P<0.001).Before treatment, there were no significant differ-ences between the two groups in terms of respiratory rate, heart rate, mean arterial pressure, and oxygen saturation(P>0.05).After treatment, all vital signs improved significantly in both groups.Compared with the control group, the observation group had lower respiratory rate and heart rate, and higher mean arterial pressure and oxygen sat-uration(P<0.05).The overall complication rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(3.45%vs.27.59%).The observation group also had significantly lower rates of missed diagnosis(0.00%vs.13.79%)and mortality(3.45%vs.20.69%)compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of severe chest trauma, effective emergency measures combined with integrated emergency inter-vention can significantly improve emergency efficiency, enhance patients' vital signs, reduce the risk of compli-cations,and lower the rates of missed diagnoses and mortality.
