Abstract:Objective To analyze the effectiveness of integrated emergency nursing care for patients with open fractures of the limbs. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 64 patients with open limb fractures who were treated at our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023.Based on the emergency nursing protocol, patients were divided into an observation group(integrated emergency nursing care,n=32)and a control group(conventional emergency nursing care,n=32).The two groups were compared in terms of emergency response time, negative psychological outcomes, resuscitation effectiveness, nursing satisfaction, and incidence of complications. Results Compared to the control group, patients in the observation group experienced significant-ly shorter times for multidisciplinary consultations, auxiliary examinations, emergency resuscitation, and the time from emergency admission to surgery(P<0.001).Prior to the intervention, there were no significant differences in the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, both groups showed significant reductions in SDS and SAS scores(P<0.001);notably,the ob-servation group had significantly lower SDS(P<0.001)and SAS scores(P<0.001)compared to the control group. The observation group demonstrated a resuscitation effectiveness rate of 96.88%and a nursing satisfaction rate of 96.88%,which were significantly higher than the control group's rates of 78.13%and 81.25%,respectively(P<0.05).Addi-tionally,the overall complication rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Integrated emergency nursing care for patients with open limb fractures can significantly reduce emergency response times, improve resuscitation outcomes, alleviate negative psychological factors such as anxiety and depression, and enhance nursing satisfaction while ensuring a high level of safety.
