Abstract:Objective To This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 1-hour bundle treatment in patients with septic shock, explore the factors affecting compliance, and examine its correlation with patient out-comes.Methods A retrospective study was conducted involving 90 patients with septic shock who were treated at Changzhou Wujin People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023.Patient demographics and clinical data were collected, and the compliance with the 1-hour bundle treatment was assessed.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to identify independent factors influencing compliance. Results The compliance rate for the 1-hour bundle treatment was 30.00%(27/90).Univariate analysis revealed that, compared to the fully compliant group, the non-compliant group had significantly higher proportions of patients lacking family support, relying on out-of-pocket payment for medical expenses, and lower awareness of clinical guidelines among healthcare provid-ers(P<0.05).Additionally,the temperature at admission in the non-compliant group was significantly lower than that in the fully compliant group(P<0.001).Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified healthcare providers' awareness of guidelines and admission temperature as independent factors affecting compliance with the 1-hour bundle treatment(P<0.05).The ICU mortality rate and 28-day mortality rate were significantly lower in the fully compliant group compared to the non-compliant group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compliance with the 1-hour bun-dle treatment in patients with septic shock is low, influenced by factors such as patient temperature and healthcare providers' awareness of guidelines.Furthermore, higher compliance with the 1-hour bundle treatment is associated with lower mortality rates.
