Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of integrated emergency care in the treatment of trau-matic hemorrhagic shock caused by multiple injuries. Methods This study is a retrospective analysis of 86 pa-tients with traumatic hemorrhagic shock due to multiple injuries who were treated at the Xiamen University First Hospital,Xinglin Branch, from August 2023 to August 2024.Patients were divided into two groups based on the emergency care model used:the observation group(43 patients)received integrated trauma emergency care from February 2024 to August 2024,and the control group(43 patients)received conventional trauma emergency care from August 2023 to January 2024.The time required for each step of the emergency process,as well as serum lev-els of interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),were compared between the two groups. The occurrence of complications, emergency outcomes, and service satisfaction were also assessed. Results The observation group showed significantly shorter times for emergency triage, consultation, completion of examinations, emergency treatment, preoperative preparation, and shock reversal compared to the control group(P<0.001).Before the emergency intervention, there were no sig-nificant differences between the two groups in the levels of inflammatory markers(IL-6,IL-8,hs-CRP,TNF-α)(P>0.05).After 24 hours of emergency care, the levels of these inflammatory markers significantly decreased in both groups(P<0.001).Notably,the observation group had significantly lower levels of IL-6,IL-8,hs-CRP,and TNF-α compared to the control group after 24 hours(P<0.001).During the emergency care period, the overall complication rate in the observation group was 2.33%,significantly lower than the 16.28%in the control group(P<0.05).The success rate of emergency treatment in the observation group was 95.35%,significantly higher than the 79.07%in the control group(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction with the service in the observation group was 97.67%,significantly higher than the 81.40%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Integrated emer-gency care improves the efficiency and success rate of emergency treatment for patients with traumatic hemorrhagic shock caused by multiple injuries. It helps reduce inflammatory responses, decreases the incidence of complica-tions,and enhances family satisfaction with the care provided.
