Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of a combined traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and Western medicine treatment model in the management of contact dermatitis patients based on disaster scenarios. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 80 patients with contact dermatitis based on disaster scenarios who were treated at Heilongjiang Province Hailun City People's Hospital from June 2019 to August 2024.Based on the treatment plan, patients were divided into two groups:the observation group(Western medicine treatment,40 cases)and the control group(combined TCM and Western medicine treatment,40 cases). The clinical treatment outcomes, improvement in clinical symptoms, healing time, medication area, inflammation and immune-related markers, itching severity, and adverse event occurrences were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had a higher overall clinical effective rate(80.00%vs 97.50%,P<0.05),with a statistically significant difference. The observation group showed sig-nificantly faster improvement in clinical symptoms and healing time(P<0.001),as well as a significantly smaller medication area(P<0.001).Before treatment, there were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),rheumatoid factor(RF)levels,or visual analog scale(VAS)for itching(P>0.05).After treatment,CRP,ESR,RF levels, and VAS scores significantly decreased in both groups, with the observation group showing significantly lower CRP,ESR,RF,and VAS scores(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the overall ad-verse event rate between the two groups(12.50%vs.7.50%,P>0.05).Conclusion The combined TCM and Western medicine intervention model for contact dermatitis based on disaster scenarios integrates the advantages of TCM syndrome differentiation and Western medicine symptomatic treatment, offering an efficient and cost-effective treatment strategy.
