Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of integrated emergency measures in the treatment of severe trauma patients. Methods A total of 80 severe trauma patients treated in the emergency department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected for the study.Based on the differences in the emergency intervention models, the patients were divided into two groups:the observation group(integrated emergency measures,n=40)and the control group(conventional emergency measures,n=40).Emergency-related time indicators, quality of life, emergency effectiveness, incidence of complications, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results Compared to the control group, the obser-vation group had significantly shorter pre-hospital emergency response time, time to establish venous access,emer-gency rescue time, time to first auxiliary examination, multidisciplinary consultation time, time from emergency to surgery, time from admission to surgery, effective treatment time, and hospital stay(P<0.001).Before the interven-tion,there was no significant difference in QLI(Quality of Life Index)scores between the two groups(P>0.05).Af-ter the intervention,QLI scores in both groups increased gradually at 1 day,7 days, and 30 days.Compared to the control group, the observation group showed significantly higher QLI scores at 1 day(P<0.001),7 days(P<0.001),and 30 days(P=0.003).The emergency rescue success rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(97.50%vs.82.50%,P<0.05).The total complication rate was significantly lower in the observation group(10.00%vs.27.50%,P<0.05),and nursing satisfaction was significantly higher in the observation group(97.50%vs.28.00%,P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of severe trauma patients, the integrated emergency model can effectively improve emergency efficiency, enhance patients' quality of life, reduce the risk of complications, and increase the satisfaction of patients and their families with the rescue efforts.
