Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of standardized cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)protocols in improving the success rate of resuscitation in patients with sudden cardiac arrest. Methods A retro-spective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 120 patients who experienced sudden cardiac arrest and were treated in the emergency department of Jiuquan People's Hospital between March 2021 and March 2024.Based on the CPR intervention protocols, patients were divided into an observation group(standardized CPR protocol,60 cas-es)and a control group(conventional CPR,60 cases). The time from onset to initiation of resuscitation, resuscitation success rates, and various parameters—including systolic blood pressure, oxygen saturation(SpO2),and Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS)scores at different time points post-resuscitation—were compared between the two groups.Re-sults Compared to the control group, the observation group demonstrated a significantly shorter time from onset to initiation of resuscitation(P<0.001)and a notably higher resuscitation success rate(P<0.05).Prior to resuscitation, there were no significant differences in systolic blood pressure and oxygen saturation between the two groups(P>0.05).At 5,10,and 15 minutes post-resuscitation,both groups exhibited significant increases in systolic blood pressure and oxygen saturation, with the observation group showing markedly higher levels than the control group(P<0.001).GCS scores on the day of resuscitation,as well as on the 4th and 8th days, demonstrated an upward trend in both groups;however, the observation group had significantly higher GCS scores on these days compared to the control group(P<0.001).Conclusion The implementation of a standardized CPR protocol during the resuscitation of patients with sudden cardiac arrest in the emergency setting significantly enhances the success rate, reduces the time required for resuscitation, and improves levels of systolic blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and consciousness.
