Application of Emergency Nursing Combined with Operating Room Nursing in Surgical Patients with Spinal Injuries

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of emergency nursing combined with operating room nursing in patients undergoing spinal injury surgery.Methods A retrospective study was conducted on the clini-cal data of 68 patients with spinal injuries admitted to the 73rd Army Group Hospital from June 2022 to June 2024.According to the different nursing plans adopted,they were divided into an observation group(receiving emergency nursing combined with operating room nursing)and a control group(receiving routine nursing),with 34 patients in each group.Compare the first aid and hospitalization time,negative psychology,recovery status,daily living ability and quality of life,and nursing satisfaction between two groups of research subjects.Results Compared with the control group,the observation group had significantly shorter arrival time at the scene,waiting time after admission,time from admission to treatment,and hospitalization time(P＜0.001).The Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores of the observation group 24 hours after surgery were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.001);The International Classification of Functioning,Disability and Health(ICF)score and Activities of Daily Living(ADL)score of the observation group patients were lower than those of the observation group at 3 months after surgery(P＜0.001),and the quality of life(SF-36)score was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.001).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of emergency nursing and operating room nursing can significantly shorten the emergency and hospitalization time of spinal injury patients,improve their negative psychology,promote their recovery,enhance their dai-ly living ability and quality of life,and improve their nursing satisfaction.
