Abstract:Objective To investigate the prognostic effects of implementing emergency rescue pathways for patients with stroke. Methods This study involved a retrospective review of clinical data from 80 stroke patients treated in the emergency department of Shaxian District General Hospital in Sanming City,Fujian Province, from January 2021 to October 2024.The patients were randomly assigned to either a control group, consisting of 40 pa-tients receiving conventional emergency care,or an observation group, comprising 40 patients treated according to an emergency rescue pathway. The outcomes between the two groups were compared. Results The observation group exhibited significantly shorter times for emergency response,call-to-admission,and admission-to-thrombol-ysis compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Additionally,the observation group had a higher success rate in emergency interventions and a lower incidence of complications than the control group, with significant differences observed(P<0.05).No significant differences in prognostic indicators were noted between the two groups upon admission(P>0.05).However,post-treatment assessments showed that the observa-tion group had lower NIHSS scores and higher BI and GCS scores compared to the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of emergency rescue pathways for stroke patients facilitates clinical emergency interventions, reduces response times, increases the success rate of emergency care, and enhanc-es patient prognostic outcomes.
