Abstract:Objective To investigate the application value of emergency response drills for postpartum hemorrhage in obstetric rescue. Methods This study included 96 patients who experienced postpartum hemor-rhage and were treated at Sinan County People's Hospital from April 2020 to May 2024.Among them,48 patients who underwent emergency response drills for postpartum hemorrhage from May 2022 to May 2024 were designated as the observation group, while 48 patients treated from April 2020 to April 2022,prior to the implementation of the drills, constituted the control group. We compared the two groups regarding hemostatic outcomes, coagulation func-tion indicators, negative emotions, adverse reaction occurrences, and nursing satisfaction. Results Compared to the control group, patients in the observation group experienced significantly less blood loss postpartum, shorter hemostatic and surgical times,a higher hemostatic success rate, and a lower rate of hysterectomy, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Post-intervention,coagulation function indicators showed significant decreases in fibrinogen and D-dimer levels in both groups, with the observation group exhibiting lower levels(P<0.05).Ac-tivated partial thromboplastin time, prothrombin time, and thrombin time were all significantly shortened, and the reductions were more pronounced in the observation group(P<0.05).After the intervention, scores for negative emotions,as measured by the Anxiety Self-Rating Scale(SAS)and the Depression Self-Rating Scale(SDS),sig-nificantly decreased in both groups, with more substantial reductions noted in the observation group(P<0.001).Moreover,the incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Emergency response drills for postpartum hemorrhage can effectively enhance the efficiency of rescue efforts, improve coagulation func-tion and alleviate negative emotions in patients, while reducing the risk of complications.
