Application and Observation of Proactive Informing Nursing in the Care of Patients with Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss and Tinnitus

Abstract：Objective To explore the application and effectiveness of proactive informative nursing in patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss and tinnitus.Methods A total of 66 patients diagnosed with sudden sen-sorineural hearing loss and tinnitus who visited Qixia Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected.The patients were randomly divided into a research group and a control group using a random draw method,33 cases per group.The control group received routine nursing care,while the research group received proactive informative nursing in addition to routine care.The mental health status,quality of life,tinnitus severity,tinnitus loudness,and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after nursing intervention.Results After nursing intervention,both groups showed improvements in mental health status and quality of life.However,the improvements in the SF-36,SDS,and SAS scores in the research group were significant-ly more pronounced compared to the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Post-nursing as-sessments showed a reduction in THI and VAS scores for both groups,but the research group demonstrated more sig-nificant reductions,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The difference in nursing satisfaction between the research and control groups was also statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Proactive informative nursing in patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss and tinnitus can significantly improve psychological well-being and quality of life,alleviate hearing loss and tinnitus symptoms,and enhance nursing satisfaction.
