The Value of Quality Nursing Care Concept in the Nursing of Emergency Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding Patients

Abstract:Objective Analyze the clinical value of implementing high-quality nursing interventions in emergency treatment of patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 84 patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Jimo District,Qingdao from January 2022 to April 2024.According to the nursing plan,the patients were divided into an observation group(high-quality nursing group,42 cases)and a control group(routine nursing group,42 cases).Compare the clinical indicators,negative emotions,quality of life,nursing satisfaction,and inci-dence of adverse reactions between two groups of patients.Results Compared with the control group patients,the observation group patients had shorter bleeding cessation time and hospitalization time(P<0.001),and less blood transfusion volume(P<0.001).Before nursing intervention,there were no significant differences in HAMA scores,HDMA scores,quality of life physical symptoms(role function,cognitive function,personal emotions,and social function scores)between the two groups of patients.After nursing intervention,both groups of patients showed a significant decrease in HAMA and HDMA scores,and a significant increase in quality of life scores;Com-pared with the control group patients,the observation group patients had lower HAMA and HDMA scores(P<0.001),and higher scores in physical symptoms,role func-tion,cognitive function,personal emotions,and social function(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the observation group had higher nursing satisfaction(P<0.05)and a lower overall incidence of adverse reac-tions(P<0.05).Conclusion In the emergency treat-ment of patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding,implementing high-quality nursing interventions can effectively shorten bleeding time and treatment time,reduce bleeding volume,decrease negative emotions,improve quality of life,increase nursing satisfaction,and reduce the risk of complications.
