Abstract:Objective Exploring the clinical effect of responsibility based nursing under the predictive emergency mode for patients with severe thoracolumbar compression fractures. Methods A retrospective anal-ysis was conducted on the clinical data of 56 patients with thoracolumbar compression fractures admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to June 2024.According to the different emergency nursing modes, they were divided into an observation group(responsibility nursing under emergency mode,28 cases)and a control group(routine emer-gency nursing,28 cases).Compare the emergency time, hospitalization time, emergency outcomes, vertebral body related indicators before and after intervention, quality of life scores, and incidence of adverse reactions.Re-sults The observation group had significantly shorter emergency response time and hospitalization time than the control group(P<0.001).The success rate of rescue in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The Cobb's angle, vertebral height, and quality of life scores of both groups of patients increased significantly compared to before intervention, while the vertebral compression rate decreased significantly(P values<0.05),and all indicators in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.001).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with severe thoracolumbar compression fractures, responsible nursing under the predictive emergency mode can improve emergency efficiency, enhance emergency outcomes and vertebral re-lated indicators, improve patients'quality of life, and reduce the risk of complications.
