The Effect of Different Local Anesthetics on Bilateral Lumbar Muscle Block Under Ultrasound Guidance
JIA Qingshan
Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of ropivacaine and lidocaine in ultrasound-guided lumbar quadratus block(QLB).Method Convenience sampling was used to select 80 patients who underwent lower abdominal open surgery at Shouguang People's Hospital from September 2019 to March 2020.According to the random number table method, they were divided into an experimental group(ropivacaine anesthesia)and a control group(lidocaine anesthesia),with 40 patients in each group.Record and compare the cumulative postoperative consumption of sufentanil and different motion pain scores, comfort scores, overall satisfaction scores, and adverse reactions between two groups of patients. Results Compared with the control group, the cumulative consump-tion of sufentanil in the experimental group was significantly lower at 4h,8h,24h,and 48h after surgery(P<0.05).Comparing the pain scores of two groups in resting state at 4h,8h,24h,and 48h after surgery, the control group had significantly higher scores than the experimental group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in the pain scores of coughing and turning over at 4,8,24,and 48 hours after surgery. The comfort meas-urement scale(BCS)scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group at 4,8,24,and 48 hours after surgery(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the control group(20.00%)and the experimental group(12.50%)(P>0.05),and both groups of patients experienced spontaneous relief of adverse reactions. Conclusion Ultrasound guided lumbar muscle block analgesia with 0.33%ropivacaine is more effective than lidocaine anesthesia.
