Abstract:Objective To evaluate the application value of computer tomography(CT)and magnetic reso-nance imaging(MR)in the clinical diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma.Method 200 suspected HCC patients admitted to Xiamen University Affiliated Xiang'an Hospital from April 2022 to May 2024 were selected as the study subjects. All patients underwent CT and MRI examinations, and the pathological results were used as the gold standard to compare the CT and MRI imaging manifestations of benign and malignant liver lesions;Evaluate the conformity of CT examination,MRI examination, and their combination with pathological results;Analyzing the efficacy of CT and MRI examinations in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma using receiver operating charac-teristic(ROC)curves.Results Compared with benign liver lesions, malignant liver lesions showed a significant-ly higher proportion of low-density,occupying,unclear edges, and expansive growth on CT images(P<0.001);The proportion of MRI images with irregular morphology, solid or cystic solid, and unclear boundaries is significantly higher(P<0.001).The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and AUC of CT examination for small hepatocellular carci-noma were 93.51%,46.66%,90.00%,and 0.815,respectively;The MRI examination results were 96.75%,53.33%,93.50%,and 0.822%.The CT combined with MRI examination results were 98.91%,60.00%,96.00%,and 0.874%,respectively.Conclusion Both CT and MRI have certain value in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma, and their combined examination can further improve the diagnostic efficiency of hepatocellular carcinoma and achieve complementary advantages.
