Abstract:Objective To analyze the impact of scenario-based simulation training on the cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)skills of 120 nurses. Methods A total of 90 nurses from the Xiamen Emergency Medical Center in Fujian Province, who participated in emergency nursing skills training from January 2022 to January 2024,were selected as the study subjects.Using a random draw method, the participants were divided into two groups:the study group(scenario-based simulation training,45 cases)and the control group(conventional training,45 cases). The two groups were compared in terms of their assessment scores, nursing competence, and training effectiveness. Results After scenario-based simulation training, both groups showed significant improvements in assessment scores and nursing competence compared to pre-training levels. Moreover, the study group demon-strated significantly higher scores in theoretical assessment, emergency assessment, clinical practical ability,as well as leadership skills, critical care monitoring ability, planning and evaluation skills, professional competencies,com-munication skills, and collaboration ability, compared to the control group. After the training, the study group also had significantly higher scores in training satisfaction, practical confidence, and overall performance compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Scenario-based simulation training effectively improves the CPR skills and nursing competence of 120 nurses, enhancing their training satisfaction and practical confidence.
