Abstract:Objective This study aims to evaluate the clinical value of comprehensive nursing interven-tions for patients with acute intracerebral hemorrhage complicated by stress-induced gastric ulcers. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 78 patients diagnosed with acute intracerebral hemor-rhage and stress-induced gastric ulcers who were treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from January 2022 to December 2023.Patients were grouped based on the nursing model into an intervention group(receiving comprehensive nursing)and a control group(receiving basic nursing),with 39 patients in each group.Hospital-related indicators, limb function, quality of life, negative emotional states, nursing satisfaction, and the occurrence of complications during hospitalization were compared between the two groups. Results Compared to the control group, the intervention group exhibited a shorter duration for ulcer healing, reduced length of hos-pital stay, and lower hospitalization costs(P<0.001).Following the nursing intervention, both groups showed an increase in Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA)scores and Barthel Index scores, along with a decrease in Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores.Notably, the intervention group had significantly higher FMA and Barthel scores compared to the control group(P<0.001),and lower SAS and SDS scores(P<0.001).Additionally,the intervention group reported higher nursing satisfaction(P<0.05)and a lower overall incidence of complications during hospitalization(P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing comprehensive nursing interventions for patients with acute intracerebral hemorrhage complicated by stress-induced gastric ulcers is beneficial in shortening hospital stays, alleviating the economic burden on patients, promoting the recovery of limb function, improving quality of life, reducing negative emotions, enhancing nursing satisfaction, and lowering the risk of complications.
