The Effect of Intelligent Pressure Controlled Flexible Ureteral Sheath Combined with Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy on Stone Removal and Renal Function in Patients with Kidney Stones

Abstract：Objective Analyze the effectiveness of intelligent pressure controlled flexible ureteral sheath combined with ureteroscopic lithotripsy(FURL)in treating patients with kidney stones.Methods 92 patients with kidney stones admitted to Nan'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from May 2022 to May 2024 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using a random number table,with 46 patients in each group.The control group received ordinary working sheath combined with FURL,while the observation group received intel-ligent pressure controlled flexible ureteral sheath combined with FURL.The surgical effects of the two groups were compared.Results The observation group had shorter surgery time and hospitalization time than the control group(P＜0.05).The stone clearance rate was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of com-plications was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).And the postoperative renal function,stress response,and inflammatory response indicators were all lower than those of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of intelligent pressure controlled flexible ureteral sheath and FURL has the advantages of minimal damage,fewer complications,faster recovery,and higher stone clearance rate.It can reduce the damage to renal function in patients with kidney stones and cause milder stress and inflammatory reactions,which is worthy of clinical reference.
