Observation of the Therapeutic Effect of Levosimendan on Acute Myocardial Infarction Complicated with Heart Failure

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical effect of levosimendan in the treatment of acute myocar-dial infarction complicated by heart failure. Methods From January 2021 to December 2023,we collected 100 patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated by heart failure who were admitted to the Affiliated Hospi-tal of Putian University. Using a random number table method,they were divided into an observation group and a control group,with 50 cases in each group. The control group received standardized treatment for acute myocardial infarction with heart failure,while the observation group was additionally administered levosimendan on the basis of the standardized treatment. Clinical efficacy,cardiac function,and levels of inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group achieved a significantly higher overall clinical efficacy rate compared to the control group (P<0.05). After treatment,patients in the observation group showed markedly better outcomes in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),left ventricular end-systolic volume (LVESV),and left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVEDV) than those in the control group (P<0.05). Additionally,the observation group had significantly lower levels of N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP),C-reactive protein (CRP),and interleukin-6 (IL-6) after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of levosimendan in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction complicated by heart failure can effectively reduce inflammation,improve cardiac function,and has significant clinical value.
