Abstract:Objective Analyze the therapeutic effect of Cangerzi Biyan Capsule combined with improved nasal irrigation scheme in patients with severe acute sinusitis. Methods 120 patients with severe acute sinus-itis who visited the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Changle District People's Hospital from April 2023 to March 2024 were selected. They were randomly divided into an experimental group (60 cases treated with Cangerzi Biyan Capsule combined with modified nasal irrigation) and a control group (60 cases treated with Cangerzi Biyan Capsule) using a random number table method. Compare and analyze the clinical efficacy, inflammation related indicators, traditional Chinese medicine syndromes, and incidence of adverse reactions between two groups of patients. Results The total clinical effective rate of the experimental group was 98.33% (59/60),significantly higher than that of the control group (81.67%,49/60) (P<0.05). After treatment, both groups of patients showed a significant decrease in C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,interleukin-10,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores compared to before treatment (P<0.001);After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,in-terleukin-10,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P values<0.001). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 5.00% (3/60),significantly lower than that in the control group (16.67%,10/60) (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with severe acute sinusitis, the clinical efficacy of Cangerzi Biyan Capsule combined with improved nasal irrigation scheme is significant, which can effectively improve the patient's inflammatory indicators and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, and has high safety.
