Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of comprehensive nursing interventions in the emergen-cy treatment of patients with acute left heart failure. Methods A retrospective study was conducted involving 80 patients with acute left heart failure who were treated at Linyi Maternal and Child Health Hospital from June 2022 to June 2024.Patients were divided into a comprehensive nursing group(observation group,n=40)and a conven-tional nursing group(control group,n=40).The two groups were compared in terms of blood gas parameters, left ventricular function indicators, anxiety levels, and patient satisfaction. Results Prior to the intervention, there were no significant differences in blood oxygen saturation, oxygen partial pressure,or carbon dioxide partial pres-sure between the two groups(P>0.05).Post-intervention,both groups showed increased blood oxygen saturation and oxygen partial pressure(P<0.05),while carbon dioxide partial pressure decreased(P<0.05).Notably,the obser-vation group exhibited higher blood oxygen saturation and oxygen partial pressure and lower carbon dioxide partial pressure compared to the control group(P<0.05).Before the intervention, there were no significant differences in heart rate, left ventricular fractional shortening(LVFS),or left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)between the groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, both LVFS and LVEF increased(P<0.05)and heart rate decreased(P<0.05),with the observation group showing higher LVFS and LVEF and lower heart rate comparde to the control group(P<0.05).Both groups exhibited a reduction in anxiety scores(P<0.001),with the observation group demonstrating significantly lower anxiety scores compared to the con-trol group(P<0.001).The nursing satisfaction rate in the observation group was 95.00%,significantly higher than the 75.00%in the control group(P<0.05).Con-clusion Implementing comprehensive nursing inter-ventions in the emergency treatment of acute left heart failure patients effectively improves blood gas indicators and left ventricular function, alleviates anxiety and fear, and enhances patient satisfaction with care.
