Abstract:Objective To explore the value of cardiac ultrasound and lipid levels in diagnosing coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods 150 patients suspected of having CHD,admitted between January 2019 and De-cember 2021,were included.Based on coronary angiography results, patients were divided into the CHD group(102 patients)and the non-CHD group(48 patients).Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were constructed to evaluate and compare the differences in lipid levels, cardiac ultrasound parameters, and the diagnostic efficacy of cardiac ultrasound and lipid levels. Results The CHD group exhibited significantly higher levels of total cho-lesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),and apolipoprotein B(ApoB)com-pared to the control group(P<0.05).Conversely,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and apolipoprotein A1(ApoA1)levels were significantly lower in the CHD group compared with the non-CHD group(P<0.05).Cardi-ac ultrasound parameters such as isovolumetric relaxation time(IVRT),E-wave deceleration time(EDT),interven-tricular septal thickness(IVS),left atrial diameter(LAD),left ventricular diameter(LVD),and left ventricular pos-terior wall thickness(LVPW)were significantly higher in the CHD group compared to the non-CHD group(P<0.05).E-wave velocity(E)and the E/A ratio were significantly lower in the CHD group compared to the non-CHD group(P<0.001).Conclusion In the diagnosis of coronary heart disease, the combination of cardiac ultrasound and li-pid levels demonstrates high diagnostic efficacy.
