Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of different doses of atorvastatin combined with aspirin in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 110 clinically confirmed cases of acute cerebral infarction from November 2021 to January 2024 were collected and divided into high-dose group and low-dose group according to random number grouping, with 55 cases in each group. The high-dose group was treated with aspirin combined with 40 mg/d atorvastatin. The low-dose group was given the same dose of aspirin combined with 20 mg/d atorvastatin. Results After treatment, the characteristic impedance and peripheral resistance of cere-bral vascular bed in two groups were lower than before treatment, and the average blood flow velocity and average blood flow were higher than before treatment(P<0.05).The results of carotid ultrasound after treatment showed that the carotid intima-media thickness and plaque area in the high-dose group were significantly lower than those in the low-dose group(P<0.05).Intra-group comparison before and after treatment confirmed that carotid inti-ma-media thickness decreased significantly and plaque area decreased significantly in both groups(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of neurological impairment in both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion High-dose atorvas-tatin combined with aspirin in patients with acute cerebral infarction can better reduce the carotid atherosclerosis plaque in patients, but the effect of improving cerebral blood flow indexes is not significantly different from that of low-dose atorvastatin combined with aspirin.
