Abstract:Objective To analyze the value of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)in evaluating the prognosis of patients with heart failure. Methods 80 patients with heart failure who were treated at Feicheng People's Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were included in the study. They were divided into a good prognosis group(group A,n=48)and a poor prognosis group(group B,n=32)based on their prognosis.Compare the basic data, myocardial injury indicators, and cardiac function indicators of the two groups of subjects, and analyze the correlation between cardiac function indicators and myocardial injury indicators,as well as the prognostic value of myocardial injury indicators for heart failure. Results There were no significant differenc-es in gender, age,BMI,smoking history, alcohol consumption history, and diabetes status between the two groups(P>0.05);The probability of hypertension in the group with a favorable prognosis was lower than that in group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.001).The myocardial injury-related indicators NT-proBNP,TnI,and hs-CRP in the group with a favorable prognosis were significantly lower than those in the group with a poor prognosis(Pvalues<0.001 for all). The cardiac function indicators LVEF(%)and E/A in the group with a fa-vorable prognosis were significantly higher than those in the group with a poor prognosis(Pvalues<0.001 for all).LVEF was negatively correlated with NT-proBNP,TnI,and hs-CRP(P<0.001).The prognostic evaluation value of NT-proBNP,TnI,and hs-CRP for patients with heart failure is high, and the accuracy of NT-proBNP is higher than that of TnI and hs-CRP.Conclusion The level of NT-proBNP can reveal the specific state of heart failure pa-tients to a certain extent, and can also predict the prognosis of heart failure patients.
