Abstract:Objective To analyze the application value of predictive nursing in patients after colorectal polypectomy. Methods 110 patients who underwent colorectal polypectomy at Fuzhou Hospital, affiliated with Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, from August 2020 to July 2023 were selected as research sub-jects.They were randomly divided into theobservation group(predictive nursing intervention,n=55)and the control group(routine nursing intervention,n=55).The intestinal function recovery time, hospital stay duration, negative emotions, health behavior capabilities, adverse reactions, and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The intestinal function recovery time and hospital stay duration in the observation group were significant-ly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.001).Before the intervention, there were no significant differences between the two groups in the three dimensions of negative emotions(DASS-21)and the four dimensions of health behavior(SRAHP)(P>0.05).After the intervention, the scores for anxiety, depression, and stress in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.001),while the scores for health responsibility, psychological well-being,nutrition,and exercise in the observation groupwere significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.001).The complication rate in the observation group was 7.27%,which was lower than the complication rate(32.73%)in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Predictive nursing intervention is ben-eficial for the recovery of intestinal function in patients after colorectal polypectomy, and it reduces hospital stay duration, improves negative emotions, and decreases complications of patients.
