Abstract:Objective To explore the application effects of integrated emergency care combined with compre-hensive rehabilitation for patients with spinal fractures and spinal cord injuries. Methods Retrospective collection of clinical basic data of 60 patients with spinal fractures and spinal cord injuries admitted to Putian University Affil-iated Hospital from August 2021 to August 2023.According to different emergency plans, they were divided into the observation group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group. We compared the neurological function, living ability, and therapeutic effect of two groups of patients. Results There was no significant difference in sensory and motor nerve function scores between the two groups of patients before intervention(P>0.05);After intervention, both groups of patients showed improvement in sensory and motor nerve function(P<0.001),and the observation group had higher scores in sensory and motor nerve function than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no signifi-cant difference in the scores of physical pain, physiological function, social function, and motor function between the two groups of patients before intervention(P>0.05);After intervention, the scores of various dimensions of life ability improved in both groups of patients(P<0.001),and the observation group had higher scores of perceived physical pain, physiological function, social function, and motor function than those of the control group(P<0.05).The clinical efficacy of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The integrated emergency care combined with comprehensive rehabilitation plan can effectively improve the neurological function of patients with spinal fractures and spinal cord injuries, enhance their daily living abilities, and demonstrate significant therapeutic effects.
