Abstract:Objective To investigate the predictive role and early diagnostic value of umbilical cord blood exosomes in early-onset neonatal sepsis. Methods 50 neonates with early-onset sepsis admitted to Tiantai Peo-ple's Hospital from January 2022 to April 2024 were selected as the observation group, and 50 healthy neonates born in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.ELISA was used to determine the content of umbilical cord blood exosome proteins(SOCS-1,CD9,CD63,CD81,Annexin V),and evaluate their sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy in the early diagnosis of neonatal sepsis. Results The content of umbilical cord blood exosome proteins SOCS-1,CD9,CD63,CD81 in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, while the content of Annexin V was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001);The accuracy of diagnosing early-onset neonatal sepsis with a combination of SOCS-1,CD9,CD63,CD81,and Annexin was 90.05%,with a sensitivity of 87.88%and a specificity of 91.22%.Conclusion Detection of umbilical cord blood exosome proteins SOCS-1,CD9,CD63,CD81,and Annexin has good diagnostic value in early-onset neonatal sepsis.
