Abstract:Objective To analyze the symptoms and emergency treatment of patients with acute gastro-enteritis.Methods 80patients with acute gastroenteritis treated in our hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the research subjects.Based on different emergency treatment plans, they were divided into the observation group(amoxicillin+omeprazole+probiotics)and the control group(amoxicillin+omeprazole),with 40 cases in each group. The gastrointestinal symptom scores, time to relief, immune and inflammatory indicators before and after treatment, and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there were no significant differences in abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting scores, and CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,hs-CRP,PTC,and IL-6 levels between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the obser-vation group had significantly lower GSRS scores for abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, and shorter recovery time compared to the control group(P<0.05).The CD3+,CD4+,IL-6 levels in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),while CD8+,hs-CRP,PTC levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the occurrence of adverse reactions between the two groups during treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion In the concur-rent treatment of amoxicillin and omeprazole, adding probiotics for the combined treatment of acute gastroenteritis is beneficial for alleviating clinical symptoms, shortening recovery time, restoring immune function, inhibiting in-flammatory reactions, and has a relatively high safety profile.
