Abstract:Objective Exploring the therapeutic effect of sublingual administration of captopril on hyper-tensive emergencies. Methods Selecting 200 hypertensive emergency patients who visited Taikang Yanyuan Rehabilitation Hospital from August 2019 to August 2022 as the research subjects, they were divided into the ob-servation group(captopril sublingual administration,n=100)and the control group(nifedipine sublingual admin-istration,n=100).The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results After 8 weeks of treatment, the blood pressure and clinical symptoms of both groups were improved, and the clinical effective rate of the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and heart rate of the two groupshad no significant difference. After treat-ment,systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and heart rate of patients were significantly decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and the degrees of decline of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and heart rate was more significant in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.001).There were no significant difference in the incidence of headache, facial flushing, shortness of breath, and rapid heart rate between the two groups(P=0.733).Conclusion Sublingual administration of captopril can stably and effectively reduce blood pressure, slow down heart rate, and has less adverse reactions, which is satisfactory for emergency treatment of hy-pertension.
