Abstract:Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of glutamine combined with Bacillus subtilis in the early enteral nutrition support process of patients with acute pancreatitis and its impact on nutrition levels.Meth-ods A retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 72 patients with acute pancreatitis admitted to our hospital from March 2020 to June 2023 was conducted.Among them, there were 36 cases in the control group(treated with glutamine enteric-coated capsules)and 36 cases in the observation group(treated with glutamine combined with Bacillus subtilis). The improvement in the condition during hospitalization[relief time of abdominal pain, length of hospital stay, amylase recovery time],changes in nutritional levels[albumin, prealbumin, hemoglobin],changes in inflammatory markers[white blood cell count,C-reactive protein, procalcitonin],and clinical efficacy evalua-tion after 72 hours of treatment were compared between the two groups. Results By analyzing the changes in clinical symptoms of the two groups of patients with acute pancreatitis,it was found that the observation group had overall better disappearance time of clinical symptoms, nutritional indicators, blood oxygen inflammatory factors, etc.,compared withthose of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the early enteral nutrition treatment of patients with acute pan-creatitis,the therapeutic effect of using glutamine combined with Bacillus subtilis is significant, which is worthy of further clinical promotion and research.
