The Impact of Electrocardiogram Evaluation on the Therapeutic Efficacy of Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction Combined with Western Medicine in Treating Myocardial Ischemia in Coronary Heart Disease

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Guanlou Xiebai Banxia Decoction modification combined with conventional western medicine in the treatment of coronary heart disease throughchanges in electrocardiogram.Methods 70 patients with coronary heart disease and myocardial ischemia who visited Xiamen Hospital of Tradi-tional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to September 2021 were divided into the observation group(Guanlou Xiebai Banxia Decoctioncombined with conventional western medicine,n=35)and the control group(conventional western medicine,n=35).The electrocardiographic indices,electrocardiographic efficacy,clinical symptom effica-cy,and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference in high frequency component/low frequency component(HF/LF)ratio,time domain index standard deviation of normal-to-normal intervals(SDNN),standard deviation of the averages of normal NN intervalsin all 5-minute segments of the entire recording(SDANN),and root mean square of successive differences(RMSSD)of between the two groups;after 2 weeks of treatment,the HF/LF ratio,SDNN,and RMSSD of both groups all in-creased significantly,P＜0.05;and compared with the control group,the observation group had a more significant increase in HF/LF ratio,SDNN,SDANN,and RMSSD,P＜0.05.After treatment,the clinical symptom effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).During the treatment period,there was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Guanlou Xie-bai Banxia Decoctioncombined with conventional western medicine has a significant therapeutic effect on coronary heart disease with myocardial ischemia,can effectively improve the electrocardiogram of patients with coro-nary heart disease,reduce clinical symptoms,and has a high safety profile.
