Emergency Ultrasound Diagnosis and Nursing of Appendicitis

Abstract：Objective To observe the qualitative diagnosis and nursing cooperation measures of emergency ultrasound for appendicitis.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 64 patients with appendicitis who received ultrasound diagnosis in the emergency department of Tai'an Maternal and Child Health Hospital from December 2022 to December 2023.The patients are randomly divided into 2 groups,with 32 cases assigned to the control group and received routine nursing care while the remaining 32 cases were assigned to the observation group and underwent refined nursing care.We compared the examination results with the pathological results,cal-culated the accuracy of ultrasound diagnosis in both groups,and investigated the satisfaction of clinical nursing in both groups.Results Ultrasound examination results were compared with pathological results,and the diagnostic accuracy of the control group was 75.00％,while that of the observation group was 96.88％.The accuracy of the ob-servation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The nursing satisfaction score of the observation group was(96.27±5.52)points,significantly higher than that of the control group(88.33±2.07)points(P＜0.05).Conclusion Actively implementing necessary nursing measures during the ultrasound diagnosis process of appendicitis patients can help improve diagnostic accuracy and patient satisfaction.
