Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of comprehensive optimization nursing in emergency department patients with acute and severe traumatic brain injury. Methods The 80 patients with acute and severe traumatic brain injury included were from our hospital's neurosurgery department from December 2022 to December 2023.According to different intervention methods, the patients were divided into two groups. The study group received optimized emergency care throughout the process, while the control group received routine care, with 40 patients in each group. The emergency indicators of the two groups were compared, and the daily living ability score and inci-dence of adverse reactions of patients with acute and severe traumatic brain injury were followed up.Results The study group's hospitalization after nursing,as well as the time for outpatient and pre hospital emergency treatment, were lower than those of the control group, and the statistical results showed significant differences(P<0.05)while before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing, the daily living ability score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the statistical results showed a significant difference(P<0.05);The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 1 case(2.50%),which was less than that in the control group of 10 cases(25.00%),and the statistical results showed a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing optimized emergency care throughout the entire pro-cess for patients with acute and severe traumatic brain injury is beneficial for shortening pre-hospital,in-hospital emergency, and hospitalization time, improving daily living ability scores, and reducing adverse reactions.
