Exploring the Impact of Integrated Medical and Nursing Care on Hospitalization Time and Anxiety in Patients with Conservative Treatment of Severe Acute Pancreatitis

Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of integrated nursing mode on hospital stay and anxiety in patients with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP)with conservative treatment.Methods SAP patients(n=80)who received conservative treatment in our hospital from September 2021 to March 2023 were collected for prospective study and were divided into the observation group(n=40)and the control group(n=40)according to different nursing plans.The observation group and the control group received integrated nursing care and routine nursing,respectively.Symptom remission time,hospital stay,anxiety(SAS),depression(SDS)scores before and after care,nursing satisfaction,and follow-up complications were compared between the two groups.Results Compared to the control group,the bowel sound,high fever,abdominal distension pain,defecation symptom relief time,and hospital stay time of the observation group was shorter,and the difference between groups was P<0.05;The scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group after nursing were lower than those in the control group and those before nursing,P<0.05;The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion Integrated nursing can improve the rehabilitation process of SAP patients under conservative treatment,shorten the hospital stay,improve the negative psychology of patients,reduce complications.
