Abstract:Objective To analyze the efficacy, side effects, and cardioversion effects of intravenous administration of Metoprolol Tartrate and Amiodarone in the treatment of supraventricular tachycardia in the emergency room. Methods 100 patients with supraventricular tachycardia in the emergency room of Zouping People's Hospital from February 2020 to February 2023 were retrospectively selected.According to the medication method, they were divided into two groups:the combination group of Metoprolol Tartrate and Amiodarone intravenous administration(combination group)and the group of Amiodarone intravenous administration alone(single group),with 50 cases in each group. We compared arterial blood pressure(mean arterial pressure, diastolic pressure, systolic pressure),hemorheological indicators, the occurrence of adverse reactions, drug onset time, recovery time, and efficacy evaluation between two groups of patients. Results The average arterial pressure, diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure, hematocrit, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and fibrinogen content of the combination therapy group were lower than those of the single group.Compared to the single group,in the combination group, the total effective rate was higher, the incidence of side effects was lower, the onset time of the drug was shorter, and the recovery time was shorter(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of supraventricular tachycardia in the emergency room, intravenous administration of Metoprolol Tartrate and Amiodarone is more effective than intravenous administration of amiodarone alone, with less side effects and shorter cardioversion time.
