Abstract:Objective To explore and analyze the effect of different timing of tracheal intubation on the prognosis of patients with emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Methods 80 patients receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the emergency department of Nanping Second Hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected, numbered according to the order of treatment, and divided into the control group and the observation group with 40 cases in each group by numerical random method. The intervention method of the control group was timely tracheal intubation, and that of the observation group was early tracheal intubation intervention. The recovery time of vital signs, blood gas index, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation were compared and analyzed between the two groups. Results The time of airway opening, respiratory recovery, heartbeat recovery, and consciousness improvement were shorter in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in blood gas indexes before resuscitation(P>0.05).After resuscitation, patients in the observation group had relatively higher pH and PaO2 levels, while patients with relatively higher PaCO2 levels were in the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in the probability of successful intubation(P<0.05),but the probability of recovery of sinus rhythm, successful resuscitation, and survival after discharge were higher in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency, early endotracheal intubation can effectively increase the probability of successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and the survival rate of patients can be significantly improved.
