Abstract:Rhabdomyolysis (RM) is a damage and disintegration of striated muscle caused by trauma or non-trauma, which then result in internal environment disorder, and severe cases might even be fatal. About 10%-60% RM patients can lead to acute kidney injury (AKI). Nowadays there is no effective drug that can relieve RM-induced AKI, and the prognosis of patients is poor. Therefore, investigation of the pathogenesis and treatment of RM-induced AKI has important clinical significance. The author reviewed the related litetatures, and put emphasis on the pathogenesis and treatment of RM-induced AKI.
