15 cases of endoscopic submucosal sissection combined with endoscopic ultrasonography in the diagnosis and treatment of rectal carcinoid tumors

Abstract：With the development of new diagnosis and treatment technologies, endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) combined with endoscopic ultrasonography has been gradually applied in clinical diagnosis and treatment of rectal carcinoid tumors. In this paper, authors systematically reviewed patients who were diagnosed as rectal carcinoid tumors, and accepted endoscopic ultrasonography and ESD within one year. They all achieved satisfactory therapeutic effects, which hint that ESD contributes to preoperative diagnosis and infiltration depth estimation of rectal carcinoid tumor.
