Abstract：In recent years, the increasing natural and man-made disasters all have a certain impact on countries around the world. As an important partner in rescue team, nurses together with other professionals are active at the forefront of disaster, and make a significant contribution to promote and maintain the physical and mental health of the affected people through their own professional knowledge and skills. The author mainly discussed nurses’ responsibility from the aspects of disaster preparedness and response, etc. in order to strengthen the ability of nurses’ social prevention and response to a variety of disasters.
