Research progress of apoptosis related factors on the underlying mechanism of stroke

Abstract：Stroke is characterized by the sudden loss of cerebral blood circulation. In the pathology course of stroke, dynamic expression and regulation of apoptosis related factors in brain have become an important direction of current research in the field of neurology. The author reviewes related literatures and summerizes important effects and underlying mechanism of apoptosis family on stroke, such as Caspases protein family, Bcl-2 protein family, cytochrome complex(cyt-c), early response genec-fos,p53 gene andFas gene.
