Abstract:Objective To explore effect of two different oxygen atomization inhalation postures, so as to provide patients with best position for clinical atomization inhalation. Methods 120 patients were selected in department of respiratory and critical care medicine in affiliated hospital of logistics university who need oxygen atomization inhalation therapy, and self-control method were adopted. All patients were treated with oxygen atomizing inhalation with different postures alternately in the morning and afternoon at the same time under monitoring of ECG and blood oxygen saturation. At the same time, they were treated with antitussive, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antiasthmatic according to doctor's advice and careful nursing. Sitting forward position was used in observation group, and patients in control group were raising bed 30°, then treatment effect was compared between the two groups. Results Blood oxygen saturation (t=3.26, P<3.26), 2 h sputum volume (t=2.98,P<2.98) and comfort level (t=2.73,P<0.01) in observation group were significantly higher than that of control group after atomization inhalation, and the differences were statistically significant. While heart rate (t=8.54,P<0.01) and adverse reaction (χ2=3.124,P<0.05) in observation group was obviously lower than that of control group, and differences were statistically significant. Conclusions Patients with sitting forward position in oxygen atomizing inhalation can increase tidal volume and depth of breathing, quickly relieve bronchial smooth muscle spasm, improve ventilation, significantly shorten effective expectoration drainage time. In clinical nursing work, we should guide patients using sitting forward position to improve inhalation solution efficiently according to patient's physical condition.
