Abstract:Objective To discuss the practice of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training in basic health service stations and its effects. Methods 606 workers in community hospital who had received CPR training during May 2015 and July 2015 were recruited. CPR knowledge test and skill assessment were conducted before and after training in order to understand the knowledge and skills of CPR mastered by trainees, and all training courses were conducted in grassroots unit. Results (1) Compared with pre-training average CPR knowledge tests scores, post training scores of doctors, nurses and technicians were improved significantly [(49.83±24.99), (54.85±21.66), (42.70±26.29)vs (88.52±9.83), (90.25±7.87), (89.39±7.68)], and the difference was statistically significant (F=629.5, 515.9, 324.4,P<0.05). (2) For skill assessments, the average post-training scores of doctors, nurses, and technicians was higher than pre-training [(63.41±28.12), (75.54±23.90), (56.05±36.15)vs (95.43±7.13), (98.07±4.16), (95.37±10.19) ], and the difference is statistically significant (F=379.15, 131.82, 102.42,P<0.05). (3) Self-made questionnaires regarding the satisfaction of this training were handed out to the 14 basic health service stations, and the recovery rate was 100%; survey results showed that all stations were content or basically content for the 19 survey questions, which means that the satisfaction rate was 100%.Conclusions This training is based on prophase analysis, focuses on the problems of trainees, emphasizes on operation, adopts flexible approaches and fitting into basic needs, and gets pleasing effects.
