Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of limited fluid resuscitation in treatment of uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock. Methods 120 cases of patients with uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock which were treated in The First Team of Xinjiang Provin-cial Corps Hospital were selected, and divided into conventional liquid resuscitation treatment group ( control group) and limited fluid resuscitation treatment group (experimental group), 60 cases in each group.Patients’ transfusion volume, mortality rate of the two groups, and their laboratory indexes of hemoglobin (HBG), platelet (PLT), hematocrit (HCT) and prothrombin time (PT) were comparatively analyzed, as thus treatment effect was evaluated. Results Transfusion volume of experimental group and control group were (846.6 ±230.4) ml and (2835.1 ±266.6) ml respectively, transfusion volume of experimental group was significantly lower than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (t=43.7130, P<0.0001); mortality rate of patients in experi-mental group was 11.67%(7/60), while that in control group was 28.33%(17/60), mortality rate in experimental group was signif-icantly lower than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =5.2083, P=0.0225).Concentration of pa-tients’ HBG, PLT, HCT in experimental group were higher than those in control group, and PT in experimental group was shorter than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions Limited fluid resuscitation in treatment of uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock can effectively improve and maintain the blood perfusion in vital tissues and organs, and win precious time for follow-up treatment, can significantly reduce mortality rate and improve prognosis.
