Abstract:Objective To explore the expression of autophagy-related protein mRNA in patients with primary immune thrombocytopenia(ITP).Methods Thirty patients with ITP admitted to the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the case group, and another 30 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group. The mRNA expression levels of type II microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3(LC3-Ⅱ),p62,Beclin-1,UNC-51-like kinase 1(ULK1),and autophagy-related protein 5(ATG5)in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of the two groups were detected by real-time quantitative fluorescence polymerase chain reaction, and the results were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the expression levels of LC3-Ⅱ,p62,and ATG5 mRNA in the case group were significantly increased(P<0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in the expression of Beclin-1 and ULK1 mRNA between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions In patients with ITP,there is abnormal expression of autophagy-related proteins LC3-Ⅱ,p62,and ATG5 mRNA,suggesting that abnormal autophagic activities may be involved in the pathogenesis of ITP.
