Abstract:Objective To investigate the current status of satisfaction among pre-hospitalized patients with differentiated thyroid cancer and analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide a basis for medical institutions to optimize the pre-hospitalization service process and formulate targeted improvement strategies. Methods A total of 523 pre-hospitalized patients with differentiated thyroid cancer diagnosed and treated in the First Ward of Thyroid Surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from November 2024 to March 2025 were selected by random sampling.General information and satisfaction were investigated using a general information questionnaire and a satisfaction scale.Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis was used to analyze the factors influencing satisfaction among pre-hospitalized patients with differentiated thyroid cancer. Results The total satisfaction score of the 523 pre-hospitalized patients with differentiated thyroid cancer was(101.23±3.63)points.The item scores of each dimension from high to low were as follows:diagnosis and treatment services(4.75±0.44)points,symptom management(4.63±0.40)points,process management(4.54±0.32)points,and environmental facilities(4.41±0.28)points.The overall satisfaction item score was(4.60±0.38)points,and the overall satisfaction rate was 93.31%.Univariate analysis showed that the total satisfaction score of patients aged<40 years was significantly higher than that of patients aged 40-60 years and>60 years, and the total satisfaction score of patients aged 40-60 years was significantly higher than that of patients aged>60 years, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).In addition, the total satisfaction scores of patients with a college degree or above, medical insurance, monthly income≥5 000 yuan, urban residence, and no metastasis were significantly higher than those of patients with a high school education or below,self-payment,monthly income<5 000 yuan, rural residence, and metastasis, respectively. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age, educational level, medical payment method, monthly income, place of residence, and presence or absence of tumor metastasis were independent influencing factors of the satisfaction scores of pre-hospitalized patients with differentiated thyroid cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion The overall satisfaction of pre-hospitalized patients with differentiated thyroid cancer is relatively good, with diagnosis and treatment services being particularly outstanding. However, patient satisfaction is still influenced by factors such as age, educational level, medical payment method, monthly income, place of residence, and presence or absence of tumor metastasis. Therefore,it is recommended that medical institutions focus on patients with the aforementioned characteristics and adopt targeted management strategies to further improve the quality of pre-hospitalization services and patient experience.
