Abstract:Objective This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of domestic and international literature on coronary heart disease(CHD)cardiac rehabilitation over the past decade to explore the current research landscape, hotspots, and development trends in this field. Methods A systematic search was performed in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)and Web of Science Core Collection databases for Chinese-and English-language literature published between January 2014 and December 2024,with the theme of"CHD cardiac rehabilitation".CiteSpace software was utilized to conduct bibliometric analyses of the selected literature across dimensions including publication volume, research institutions, and keywords. Results After screening,977 Chinese articles and 1 960 English articles were included.Chinese publications showed higher output from institutions such as the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University,Peking Union Medical College School of Nursing, and Beijing Friendship Hospital.English-language publications were predominantly from the University of Toronto,University of Sydney, and York University.Research institutions were mainly medical schools and hospitals, with a lack of government-led cross-regional collaborative mechanisms.Domestic research hotspots focused on cardiopulmonary function, efficacy indicators, and suitable target populations in CHD cardiac rehabilitation, while international research emphasized exercise modes and types,as well as evidence-based medical practices. Conclusion The discipline of CHD cardiac rehabilitation in China has developed rapidly;however,cross-regional and international collaboration mechanisms remain underdeveloped. There is a need to integrate advanced international experience with local practical strengths to construct a cardiac rehabilitation system with Chinese characteristics.
