Abstract:Cervical cancer is the fourth most common malignant tumor in women worldwide, and its morbidity and mortality are particularly severe in developing countries.Persistent infection with human papillomavirus(HPV)is recognized as a necessary factor for the occurrence of cervical cancer, but whether the host progresses to carcinogenesis after HPV infection is closely related to the dynamic balance of the local microenvironment.Recent studies have revealed that cervical carcinogenesis is not the result of a single virus, but the final product of the interaction among viral characteristics, host immune status, and vaginal microecology.Vaginal microecology,as the first line of defense against pathogens, profoundly affects the natural course of HPV infection through changes in its flora composition and metabolic characteristics. This study comprehensively summarizes recent research findings to systematically elucidate the complex relationships among these three factors, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for clinical prevention and treatment.
