Effect of CGF Combined with Tinidazole Calcium Hydroxide Paste on Revascularization of Young Permanent Teeth

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of concentrated growth factor(CGF)combined with tinidazole calcium hydroxide paste(TCHP)on pulp necrosis in young permanent teeth.Methods A total of 40 patients(40 young perma-nent teeth with pulp necrosis)treated at Cangzhou People's Hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were enrolled.They were randomly divided via the envelope method into a control group(20 cases,treated with pulp revascularization using TCHP for root canal disinfection)and a CGF group(20 cases,receiving additional CGF).The total treatment efficacy,root length,root canal wall thickness,pulp vitality rates,density of regenerated tissue in root canals,and complication rates were compared between the two groups.Results At 6 and 12 months postoperatively,the total efficacy rates were significantly higher in the CGF group than in the control group(P<0.05).At 24 months postoperatively,both groups showed increased root length and root canal wall thickness versus preoperative levels,with greater improvements in the CGF group(P<0.05).Pulp vitality rates in the CGF group at 6 and 12 months postoperatively were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).At 12 months postoperatively,the density of regenerated tissue in the coronal,middle,and apical thirds increased versus preoperative levels in both groups,with more significant improvements in the CGF group(P<0.05).No statistically significant difference was found in complication rates between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion CGF combined with TCHP significantly improves treatment efficacy for pulp necrosis in young permanent teeth,promotes continued development of young permanent teeth and recovery of pulp vi-tality,with good safety and high clinical value.
