Abstract:Objective This study aims to explore the clinical characteristics and medication patterns of Professor Shen Baofan,a master of Chinese medicine,in treating female coronary heart disease(CHD)after interventional surgery through association rule and network analysis methods, with a focus on differences in medication use across different age groups and comorbid conditions. Methods Prescription data of female CHD patients after interventional surgery were ex-tracted from the HIS system of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital between May 2023 and May 2024.A total of 104 prescriptions were screened, involving 74 distinct Chinese medicine substances.Statisti-cal analysis and visualization were performed using R language software. The Apriori association rule algorithm was applied to identify drug correlations, while the qgraph and bootnet R packages were used to construct and evaluate core drug net-works.Drug importance was assessed through EI values. Results The top 10 Chinese medicines prescribed differed be-tween patients over 60 years and those under 60 years,as well as between patients with CHD complicated with hypertension and those with CHD complicated by type 2 diabetes.Network analysis identified core therapeutic agents for CHD,including safflower-Chuanxiong,stir-fried Fructus Aurantii,Danshen-Danggui,among others.Strong correlations were found between these drugs, with Danshen,Yujin,Chaozhiqiao,Zhigancao,Shengdihuang,Danggui,Honghua and Chuanxiong exhibiting high EI values, indicating their essential role in CHD treatment. Conclusion Professor Shen Baofan's medication pattern demonstrate distinct individualized characteristics in the treating of female CHD patients post-intervention,particularly across age groups and comorbid conditions. These findings support his theoretical framework of"syndrome differentiation and treatment based on qi deficiency and blood stasis obstruction",emphasizing foundational strategies of tonifying qi,nour-ishing yin, dispelling blood stasis, resolving phlegm, and unblocking collaterals. The study elucidates core drug utilization prin-ciples,providing scientific evidence for clinical practice.
