Comparative Analysis of the Efficacy and Advantages of Three Different Endoscopic Operations for Nasal Inverted Papilloma

Abstract：Objective To compare the efficacy and advantages of three different endoscopic operations for nasal in-verted papilloma.Methods A total of 105 patients with nasal inverted papilloma from January 2018 to December 2023 were enrolled,with group A comprising patients undergoing simple nasal endoscopic surgery,group B comprising patients undergoing nasal endoscopic+Coll-Lu surgery,and group C comprising patients undergoing endoscopic endoscopic surgery via anterior lacrimal recess approach,with 35 patients in each group.The perioperative indicators,postoperative recurrence rate and post-operative complications were compared among the three groups.Results The preoperative general data of patients with nasal inverted papilloma in groups A,B and C were no significant difference(P>0.05).The operative time,intraoperative blood loss,and hospital stay in group A were lower than those in group B and group C,and group B's indicators were lower compared with group C(P<0.05).In group A,B and C,there were no postoperative complications in stage Ⅰ patients,and the difference in incidence of postoperative complications between stage Ⅱ and stage Ⅲ patients was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The 1-year recur-rence rate for stage Ⅰ and stage Ⅱ nasal inverted papilloma among groups A,B and Cshowed no significant difference(P>0.05).The recurrence rate of stage Ⅲ nasal inverted papilloma in group A was higher than that in group B and group C(P<0.05).Conclusion For stage I and stage Ⅱ intranasal inverted papilloma,simple nasal endoscopic surgery reduces intraoperative blood loss and shortens the operation time and hospital stay.However,for stage Ⅲ patients,nasal endoscopic+Coll-Lu surgery and endoscopic trans-lacrimal recess approach surgery are more advantageous in ensuring thoroughness and reducing recur-rence rate.
